19 June 2026

Ottawa, June 19, 2026 – The Centre de planification des services de santé en français (CPSSF) is proud to announce that six additional members have joined its Board of Directors.

Following a rigorous, transparent province-wide recruitment process based on sound governance principles, these individuals join the three founding members. Together, they will ensure informed planning for French-language health services and amplify the priorities of Ontario’s Francophone communities.

We extend our warmest welcome to:

  • Dawn Morissette, President and Chief Executive Officer of the West Nipissing General Hospital;
  • Estelle Ah-Kiow, Strategic Advisor at the Canadian Medical Association;
  • France Vaillancourt, Executive Director of the Centre de santé communautaire Hamilton-Niagara;
  • Idrine Matenda-Zambi, Department Director at the Conseil scolaire catholique Providence;
  • Kim Morris, Executive Director of the Fédération des aîné·e·s et des retraité·e·s francophones de l’Ontario;
  • Pascal Bessette, Vice-President of Human Resources and Organizational Culture at Collège La Cité.

“Thanks to the commitment, expertise, and diverse backgrounds of our members, the Board reflects the richness of the province’s Francophone communities and ensures representation from all six Ontario Health regions,” said Lise Bourgeois, Board Chair.

“This step marks a pivotal moment in the evolution of the CPSSF,” added Natalie Aubin, CEO of the CPSSF. “It strengthens our capacity to act as a strategic partner and a voice for Francophones, fostering equitable access to high-quality French-language health services.”

The Board will also soon include two appointments by the Ontario Ministry of Health, which will complete its composition.

Together, we will continue building a healthcare system that is more inclusive, more accessible, and better adapted to the realities of Ontario’s Francophone communities.

We sincerely thank all Board members for their commitment to this essential mission and look forward to the work ahead.
