Expression of Interest – CPSSF Provincial Strategic Plan Advisory Committee
The French Language Health Services Planning Centre (CPSSF) in Ontario is inviting expressions of interest to form its Advisory Committee as part of the development of its first provincial strategic plan (2028–2031).
Created by the Government of Ontario in partnership with the Assemblée de la francophonie de l’Ontario (AFO) and Hôpital Montfort, CPSSF has been working since September 2025 to improve and transform access to quality French-language health services across the province.
This committee will play a key role in shaping the strategic plan by contributing insights rooted in the realities of Ontario’s six regions: East, North East, North West, West, Centre, and Toronto. The work will help guide concrete, inclusive, and sustainable actions.
What will the committee do?
Members will be asked to:
- Validate CPSSF’s strategic directions
- Identify emerging issues and unmet needs
- Contribute on-the-ground, sectoral, and population-based perspectives
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a diversity of perspectives, including:
- Members of Francophone communities (youth, immigrants, racialized individuals, Indigenous peoples, 2SLGBTQIA+ communities)
- Health sector professionals (hospitals, primary care, mental health, long-term care, community and home care services)
- Institutional, community, academic, and research partners
- Patient partners and representatives of minority communities
Selection criteria
Applications will be assessed based on:
- Understanding of the importance of French-language health services for Francophones in Ontario
- Relevant experience
- Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively
- Strong French language skills
- Understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI)
How will the work be carried out?
The mandate will run from September 2026 to September 2027 and includes five virtual meetings, with the possibility of one in-person meeting:
- September 8, 2026
- November 2026 (date to be confirmed)
- February 2027 (date to be confirmed)
- May 2027 (date to be confirmed)
- August 2027 (date to be confirmed)
- The committee’s work will inform CPSSF’s provincial strategic plan (2028–2031).
