Ottawa, September 8, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 The French Language Health Planning Centre (CPSSF) is launching its first strategic planning process, an important milestone that coincides with the celebration of its first year of existence. Held under the theme \u201cOur voice, our health,\u201d this exercise invites Ontario\u2019s Francophone communities to jointly define the priorities that will guide the Centre\u2019s actions over the next four years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOne year ago, the CPSSF was created with an ambitious vision: to contribute to a more equitable health system for Ontario\u2019s Francophones. Today, I want to recognize the exceptional commitment of our team and our partners. As we begin our first strategic planning exercise, we have an opportunity to define together a vision for the future that will benefit Francophones,\u201d says Lise Bourgeois, Chair of the Board of Directors of the CPSSF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis first anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate what has been accomplished, but also to look ahead with confidence. By launching our first strategic planning process, we are opening a new chapter in the CPSSF\u2019s history. Together, we will set the directions that will allow us to strengthen our impact on access to equitable, high-quality French language health services,\u201d adds Natalie Aubin, Chief Executive Officer of the CPSSF and Vice-President at Montfort, Ontario\u2019s Francophone academic hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Over the coming weeks and months, the CPSSF will meet with communities, patients and caregivers, health service providers, partners and health system stakeholders to hear about their realities, understand their priorities and gather their aspirations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Consultations will be held across Ontario, as well as virtually.
