{"id":250,"date":"2026-06-01T18:29:49","date_gmt":"2026-06-01T22:29:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cpssf.ca\/?p=250"},"modified":"2026-06-01T18:31:42","modified_gmt":"2026-06-01T22:31:42","slug":"expression-of-interest-cpssf-provincial-strategic-plan-advisory-committee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cpssf.ca\/en\/2026\/06\/01\/expression-of-interest-cpssf-provincial-strategic-plan-advisory-committee\/","title":{"rendered":"Expression of Interest \u2013 CPSSF Provincial Strategic Plan Advisory Committee"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-background has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#ebffab21\">The French\u00a0Language Health Services Planning\u00a0Centre\u00a0(CPSSF) in Ontario is <strong>inviting expressions of interest to form its Advisory Committee <\/strong>as part of the development of its first provincial strategic plan (2028\u20132031).\u00a0<br><br>Created by the Government of Ontario in partnership with the Assembl\u00e9e de la\u00a0francophonie\u00a0de\u00a0l\u2019Ontario\u00a0(AFO) and\u00a0H\u00f4pital\u00a0Montfort, CPSSF has been working since September 2025 to improve and transform access to quality French-language health services across the province.\u00a0<br><br><strong>This committee will play a key role in shaping the strategic plan <\/strong>by contributing insights\u00a0rooted\u00a0in the realities of Ontario\u2019s six regions: <strong>East, North East, North West, West, Centre, and Toronto<\/strong>. The work will help guide concrete, inclusive, and sustainable actions.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9837b7378a698d2f43879d5e3950aaca\" style=\"color:#203b36\"><strong>What will the committee do?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Members will be asked to:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Validate CPSSF\u2019s strategic directions\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify\u00a0emerging issues and unmet needs\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute on-the-ground, sectoral, and population-based perspectives\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-281fd86810476446849eac7708e184e3\" style=\"color:#203b36\"><strong>Who are we looking for?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are seeking a diversity of perspectives, including:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Members of Francophone communities (youth, immigrants, racialized individuals, Indigenous peoples, 2SLGBTQIA+ communities)\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health sector professionals (hospitals, primary care, mental health, long-term care,\u00a0community\u00a0and home care services)\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Institutional, community, academic, and research partners\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Patient partners and representatives of minority communities\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0abb5f544a4284fcccee57d25fc1b373\" style=\"color:#203b36\"><strong>Selection criteria<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications will be assessed based on:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understanding of the importance of\u00a0French-language health services for\u00a0Francophones\u00a0in\u00a0Ontario\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relevant experience\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong French language skills\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI)\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a30c1317e85fe82114dc9c712accf3ef\" style=\"color:#203b36\"><strong>How will the work be carried out?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mandate will run from September 2026 to September 2027 and includes five virtual meetings, with the possibility of one in-person meeting:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>September 8, 2026\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>November 2026 (date to be confirmed)\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>February 2027 (date to be confirmed)\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>May 2027 (date to be confirmed)\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>August 2027 (date to be confirmed)\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The committee\u2019s work will inform CPSSF\u2019s provincial strategic plan
